Daily movement training of lower limb prosthesis
The training methods of daily application of lower limb prosthesis are as follows:
① The training of sitting on the chair and standing up again; the height of the chair surface should be properly reduced for training.
② Up and down stairs training
----When going up the stairs, first step up with healthy feet, then lift the prosthesis up and close together, and then step up the stairs step by step.
----When you go down the stairs, first you go down the prosthetic feet, then you go down the strong feet and close them, step by step.
----The method of alternating two feet downstairs can only be carried out when the strength of the healthy limb is strong and the residual limb is long. When stepping down the steps, the toe of the artificial limb should extend out of the edge of the steps (the heel position of the single axis knee and the safety knee is slightly different, the artificial limb bears weight, one step under the healthy foot, the artificial limb bends the knee when the healthy foot touches the ground, and the prosthetic foot takes the next step.
③ Up and down slope training
----When going uphill, the step length of the healthy limb should be larger, and the prosthesis should take another step after the residual limb bends the hip; the trunk should lean forward as much as possible.
----When going downhill, the step length of the prosthesis should be small, and the healthy limb should follow quickly to avoid falling due to losing balance.
④ The training of standing up and sitting down from the floor
⑤ Obstacle crossing training
----When crossing forward, the prosthesis will bear weight, and the healthy limb will span first; then the healthy limb will bear weight, and the body will lean forward as much as possible, and the residual limb will bend the hip to drive the prosthesis to cross the obstacle.
----When crossing horizontally, the healthy limb stands close to the obstacle, and the prosthesis bears the weight. The healthy limb first crosses the brick; then the healthy side bears the weight, taking the healthy foot as the axis, and the prosthesis lifts forward and upwards to cross the obstacle.
⑥ Pick up from the ground
There are two methods: one is to straighten the prosthesis with the healthy limb in front, bend the knee on the healthy side to pick up things; the other is to bend the knee and hip on the back to pick up things.
⑦ Other training includes walking on gravel roads, cycling, undressing and carrying heavy objects.
After the above training contents are proficient, the special functional action training can be guided according to the needs of the patients' professional work. In addition, exercise therapy for patients, such as through some ball games, can better exercise the flexibility of using prosthesis.
